ROUX

One of my best gastronomic experiences in Buenos Aires was at the restaurant by Martín Rebaudino, ROUX. Very attentive staff and an extensive wine list. Roux takes Argentinian cuisine to a higher level. I recommend Roux to anyone who wants to make a gastronomic journey in Buenos Aires. Book in time. I think this may be the best restaurant in Buenos Aires. Located a couple of blocks away from the cemetery of Recoleta.

El Burladero

El Burladero is the restaurant of choice if you want to discover the Spanish cuisine in Buenos Aires. An overwhelmingly decorated interior with even a photo of the Spanish royal couple. Delicious Paella and tapas that you can keep eating. Typical dishes such as Croquetas, Crema Catalana, … and Churros with of course Argentine Dulce de Leche. It was a pleasant dining experience and I will go back again.

This place is for you if you are looking for delicious Argentine local cuisine. I tried many dishes there and every time I was surprised by the combination of tastes. For sure try the “bife de chorizo”. They have a mixed meat and fish menu. Also, vegetarian options. On top of that, a fine wine list and within a nice budget.

Pizzería Güerrín

Not the traditional fine dining restaurant in Buenos Aires. However, I want to mention Pizzaría Güerrín. It’s my favorite pizzeria in town. I was surprised about the pizza combinations they had and how delicious it was! Don’t expect a Neapolitan-style pizza. I wrote an article about it.

A crowded atmosphere, and a true Argentine vibe near the Obelisco. Worth visiting for dinner or at any moment when hungry.

La Parolaccia

I stay in Italian cuisine with La Parolaccia. A cozy restaurant with several locations in the city. Many Argentines go here on weekends with family and friends. The dishes are tasty but simple, especially the tortellini is my favorite. And don’t skip the dessert! 😀

I give this address because it is a well-known place for the locals. Worth going on the weekend to get that local vibe.
